FAITH Features France in Exhibit; Talk

First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH) in Tanauan City, Batangas featured France in an exhibit by its High School students. The exhibit is part of the school’s 13th Foundation day celebration where one country is featured every year. The annual activity aims to expand the students’ world view and foster appreciation of different peoples and cultures.

The exhibit featured artworks made by the students such as paintings, figurines, and hand-painted shirts and mugs highlighting the tourist attractions of France. There was also a section with human statues. The students wearing France’s traditional attire posed for the viewers. In addition, photos of various tourist attractions and everyday scenes in France by Martin Macalintal, Audiovisual Attache of the Embassy of France to the Philippines were exhibited.

Aside from the exhibit, Ariane Tricaud, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of France to the Philippines gave a talk about France and its culture. FAITH High School and college students from selected courses attended the talk.
